Store your broom with the bristles up. It’ll keep the bristles from bending and the broom will last longer and work better.

If the tips of the broom become bent (and are of natural materials), you can soak the bristles in a bucket of water and straighten them by hand. Use heavy scissors to trim off the errant bristles.
