I was sitting at the Rebuilding Together Thurston County (www.rebuildingtogethertc.org) table at the Home Show at St. Martins a couple of weeks ago and bumped into Dale Matz. Dale makes some of the most wonderful hand-crafted furniture. He's had his stuff at Furniture Works during previous Arts Walks. Portland etc.

Hi - Got the pictures updated, including one of a fabulous solid oak bedroom set (queen bed, 2 night stands (with drink holders), dresser and mirror and a chest of drawers (includes a jewelry tray)). This one is a gem.

I'm off tomorrow for Portland to pick up some more new furniture, returning Saturday.

Sept 13 and 14

13th - Kim (my wife) is canning peaches and salsa (both red & green). I'm more or less taking the day off, attacking moles in yard, planting 125 tulip bulbs and picking the last of the sweet corn.

14th - Back to "real" work. Drove up north & picked up a truckload of stuff we got at an auction, including a great teak 60's bedroom set (bed, dresser, 2 nightstands) so the place is pretty full right now. By the way, here's a picture of the leather sofa I from Porter International. I've got the matching chair, too.
