The Antique Vintage Association of Olympia and the Greater South Sound will be holding their annual Holiday Sale from Nov 14-22. All 22 shops will be hosting different specials and discounts.

another truckload

Just back from Up North with a truckload of used furniture. This week I got a table & 6 chairs, shabby chic table with 2 chairs (nice vine pattern on the table), glass topped coffee table & 2 end tables, a couple small chests of drawers and nice vintage vanity/desk with bakelite handles.

today's stuff

I was down in Portland (picking up new furniture at Porter International and celebrating Halloween with Kim's niece Mindi) but I understand it was surprisingly large turnout for Halloween downtown. I'm looking forward to this getting bigger & better every year.

Got most of the new stuff unwrapped & on the floor. From a sale up North, I picked up a great Chinese cabinet with mother of pearl inlay. Gotta see it to believe it.
